信守
The primary goal of this course is for students to improve their practical English language skills, including the four main skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Students will also gain greater familiarity with the history and nature of Buddhism in English-speaking countries, and expand their vocabulary of terminology related to Buddhism and Buddhist Studies.
The course will use a variety of methods, including class discussions, student presentations, and both individual and group study of written texts and videos. Students will learn about diversity, equality, and inclusion in modern Buddhism in both Asia and in English-speaking countries, as well as Buddhist perspectives on economics and environmentalism. Students will also systematically improve their English-language vocabulary of terminology related to Buddhism.
